The medium-sized tree possesses moderate to strong growth vigor and has an upright crown type. Flowering occurs in the first half of September under South African conditions. The variety is self-incompatible; for pollination, the Harry Pickstone variety is recommended. The chilling requirement is 400–600 hours.
Fruits are round in shape, with a weight of about 60 g, have purple skin and light-yellow, firm, melting flesh. The stone is semi-freestone. Productivity is high; fruits set on both spurs and annual shoots.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption. The fruits possess good keeping quality, maintaining marketability for up to 4 weeks under proper temperature storage conditions. The level of disease susceptibility is assessed as normal or high.
