The tree reaches a height of up to 6 meters with a comparable crown width, which has an upright type with a fan-shaped expansion. Both full-size and dwarf forms up to 3 meters in height exist.

The fruits are characterized by a sweet taste and a dark red color of both the skin and the flesh. The variety possesses high yield and can act as a pollinator for other Chinese plum varieties.

Due to the firm structure of the flesh, the variety is suitable for transportation and commercial production. The fruits are used both for fresh consumption and for culinary processing.
