The variety belongs to the Chinese plum and is often classified as a diploid plum. Plants are characterized as low-growing and possess high disease resistance.

Fruits have a round or round-cordate shape and a weight from 70–90 g up to 150 g. The fruit skin is red-purple, the flesh is red, juicy, very firm and crunchy. The taste is sweet with minimal acidity; the sugar content reaches 16 °Brix.

The variety is a dessert type, distinguished by high transportability and the ability of the fruits to store under ordinary conditions until November–December. In documentation, the variety is also mentioned in the context of interspecific hybrids.
