The tree has high growth vigor and an upright crown type. Fruiting occurs on spurs and shoots, with flowering occurring in mid-September. The variety is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinators such as Sapphire, Harry Pickstone, Laetitia, or Sundew.
The fruit is round in shape; the skin is light yellow at harvest and turns bright yellow after storage. The flesh is yellow, of fine texture, and the stone is semi-freestone. The fruit contains about 16–17° Brix of sugar and is sensitive to mechanical damage during transport.
The variety has good productivity and a high capacity for long-term cold storage. It is intended for commercial cultivation and sale on the fresh market, being an important export crop.
