The variety is a diploid plum obtained by crossing the Angeleno variety with an unknown variety. The tree is medium-sized, vigorous, forms a semi-spreading crown, and is distinguished by stable high yields. To ensure fruit set, cross-pollination with other Chinese plum varieties blooming at similar times is required.
The fruits are large, weighing about 170 g, and have a round or slightly heart-shaped form. The skin is smooth, very dark, almost black, and covered with a waxy bloom. The flesh is dense, with a reddish hue. The variety belongs to early or mid-early ripening groups, has good transportability, and is adapted for commercial cultivation in various regions with a suitable climate.
