The variety is the result of interspecific hybridization of cherry plum and Chinese plum. The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of up to 5 meters, and has a spreading crown. The variety is distinguished by early onset of fruiting, high winter hardiness, and resistance to Clasterosporium carpophilum.

The fruits ripen in September, have a rounded shape and bright yellow color; the average weight is 23–25 g. The flesh is yellow, loose, and juicy; the taste of the fruits is sweet and sour. The variety is self-infertile and requires the presence of pollinators; it is suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
