Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 1.5–3.0 meters and has a dense crown with thorny shoots. The foliage is leathery and glossy. In spring, in May–June, the shrub blooms abundantly with white or creamy-white flowers gathered in corymbose inflorescences.
The spherical fruits ripen in autumn and remain on the branches until winter, acquiring an orange hue at the end of the season. The variety is characterized by winter hardiness down to -20°C and an upright habit, which allows it to be used for creating hedges, espaliers, or as a specimen plant.
The fruits are ornamental and not suitable for human or animal consumption. Due to the presence of thorns, the shrub can serve as a protective barrier, and the fruits attract birds.
