Variety description

The variety is an evergreen shrub with a dense crown that is initially upright and later widely spreading. The plant reaches a height of 2 meters and a width of about 1 meter. Its main distinguishing feature is the complete absence of thorns, which facilitates plant maintenance.
Flowering occurs in May–June with white flowers gathered in corymbose inflorescences on two-year-old wood. Large bright orange berries appear in September and persist on the bush until winter. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness (USDA zone 6a, down to -20 °C) and increased resistance to fire blight and Phytophthora.
The plant is used for decorative purposes as a specimen, for creating hedges, or for training against walls and trellises. The crop is a honey plant that attracts bees and butterflies and serves as a food source for birds in the winter period.
