The Flamingo tree has moderate vigor and an upright crown type. It belongs to the category of summer pears, with the first harvest occurring in the first week of February.

The fruits have an average weight of 150 g and a bicolored skin. The variety is sensitive to ethylene exposure, which requires control of harvesting and storage conditions to prevent flesh browning and over-ripening. Yield is characterized as moderate or good.
