The variety is classified as mid-maturing and forms medium-green leaves with white-violet flowers. The plant does not form a root crop, developing a thickened taproot that contributes to loosening and drainage of deep soil layers.

Bokito actively increases green mass and regrows well after mowing. The variety is valued for its resistance to beet cyst nematode, which allows its use in crop rotations with sugar beet for soil sanitation, weed suppression, and prevention of nitrogen leaching.
