The root crops of the variety have a round shape and bright red skin. Plants form on average from 11 to 13 leaves.
The variety is early-maturing and all-season, intended for sequential sowing. Suitable for obtaining a harvest in cold frames and greenhouses starting from February, as well as for cultivation in open field throughout the season.
There is a variation «Rond écarlate géant de Wursbourg», which differs from the classic variety by a larger size of root crops, darker coloring and a more developed leaf apparatus.
