The variety is a product of breeding obtained by crossing Hachpep and Hachmai varieties. In the process of market promotion, the plant was known by the working names Wintergreen and Hachpink before receiving the final name Pink for Help.

The flowers of the variety have a diameter of 5–7 cm, slightly wavy edges, and are collected in inflorescences of 2–4 pieces at the ends of the shoots. The petal color at full bloom is bright pink with a pronounced dark red spotted pattern on the inner side; the buds are distinguished by a deeper pink or reddish shade.
