Variety description

The shrub reaches a height of 75–120 cm and a width of up to 1.2 m. It has a densely foliated, dense, and spreading crown shape. The leaves are glossy, dark green, with a potential acquisition of a purple-bronze shade in the winter period.
The flowers are semi-double, fire-red in color, up to 6 cm in diameter. The plant is characterized by high heat tolerance and winter hardiness down to -23 °C. It prefers well-drained acidic soils rich in organic matter and is sensitive to waterlogging.
