The plant is a compact, spreading shrub about 0.6 m high and about 0.8 m wide. The foliage is evergreen, smooth, dark green, and retains its color during the winter period.

The flowers are pure white, star-shaped with incised petals, 5 to 8 cm in diameter. Flowering is early and profuse, starting from mid-April. The variety withstands frosts down to -12 °C.

The plant prefers partial shade and acidic, humus-rich, well-aerated, fresh soils. The variety's purpose includes decorative landscaping for the foreground of flower beds, rock gardens, and container cultivation.
