Variety description

10 August 2026

The shrub is characterized by a uniform, wide, and densely branched habit. 10 years after planting, the plant reaches 50 cm in height and up to 90 cm in width. The foliage is dark green, elliptical in shape, leathery and glossy, and persists throughout the winter.

The flowers are large, fiery-red with an orange tint and yellowish spotting. Flowering lasts from two to three weeks. The variety is suitable for growing in containers, heather gardens, and small landscape compositions; it tolerates pruning well after flowering is finished.

The plant prefers semi-shaded areas with acidic, humus-rich, well-drained soils. Winter hardiness is estimated in the range of -18 °C to -27 °C, which corresponds to USDA zone 5b.
