Variety description

The plant forms a dense, spreading and compact shrub. The leaves are long, narrow-elliptic, measuring about 45 by 7 mm, pointed, dark green on top and lighter on the bottom, with moderate pubescence. Young leaves are of a light green shade.
The flowers are medium-sized, widely funnel-shaped, with linear-lanceolate petals, which is why the variety is classified as a group of spider azaleas. The flower color varies from pink to reddish-lilac or light purple.
This variety is a tropical or subtropical plant intended for use as a houseplant or greenhouse pot culture.
