The plant is a tall, spreading shrub with a height of 1.5 to 3 meters. Shoots are light brown; leaves are light green, shiny, turning yellow or red by autumn. Flowers are large, golden-yellow, with a pleasant aroma; flowering is very abundant.

Berries are large, weighing 2 to 8 g, black with a metallic sheen. Pulp is yellow, juicy; taste varies from sweet to sweet-and-sour. Fruits are of universal use, suitable for fresh consumption and all types of processing, including drying and freezing.

The variety is of medium maturity, entering fruit-bearing in the 2–3rd year after planting. It is characterized by frost resistance, drought tolerance, and high resistance to most pests and diseases, although it may be affected by powdery mildew in high humidity.
