The bush has a semi-upright habit; the shoots tend to arch downwards. The plant produces a significant amount of root suckers. The fruits are round-oval in shape, dark brown, almost black in color, and smaller than those of some other varieties.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and tolerates temperature fluctuations well due to a long dormancy period. The plant has ornamental qualities, including flowering and autumn leaf coloration, and is less susceptible to pests typical of black currant and gooseberry.

Propagation is recommended by softwood cuttings to preserve varietal characteristics.
