The plant reaches an average height of about 1.0 meters and has an upright, dense habit. It forms strong shoots, including in the upper part, which makes the rootstock suitable for varieties with thick stems. In a lignified state, the shoots have a dark gray-brown color.

The leaves are medium-sized with a broad central lobe, bright green in summer, changing color to orange-red in autumn. In the ME-LS series of rootstocks, this type is considered the most suitable for grafting blackcurrant.
