The plant forms a bush with a pronounced ability to produce root suckers. The flowers are yellow and fragrant. The variety demonstrates high resistance to adverse climatic factors, including frost and drought, and also tolerates partial shade well.

The fruits of the variety are characterized as black berries with firm skin. The taste varies from moderately sour to slightly tart. The berries contain vitamin C, organic acids, and minerals, in particular potassium. After full ripening or slight shriveling, they are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for making compotes, jams, wines, distillates, or for drying.
