The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing form A-1-14 (Yunost × Zoya) with the variety Minai Shmyrev. The bush is medium-sized, slightly spreading, with a dense crown and flexible shoots with shortened internodes.
The berries, weighing 1.7–2.0 g (up to 3.5 g maximum), have a round-oval shape, black color with a gloss, firm skin, and dry separation. The flesh is sweet and sour in taste. The yield is high, up to 11 t/ha; the berries are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and industrial processing.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness and relative drought tolerance. The variety demonstrates high resistance to powdery mildew and rust; it is affected by anthracnose to a low or moderate degree.
