The variety was obtained by crossing the Titania variety and breeding number P9/11/14. The plant is vigorous, with a moderately spreading habit and strong, thick shoots.

The berries are large, have a sweet-sour taste, and contain a significant amount of vitamin C and anthocyanins. The fruits have a dry abscission, which allows them to be used for dessert purposes, industrial processing, and mechanical harvesting.
