The origin of the variety remains uncertain: some sources indicate selection by the DV NIISKh, while others suggest foreign origin. There is a risk of confusing the name with the 'Titania' variety or the 'Titan' rowan hybrid.
The plant is a compact shrub 1.5–1.8 meters high. The fruit ripening period occurs in July–August. The berries are large, weighing from 1.3 to 4 grams, have an anthracite-black color, and a sweet-and-sour taste.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness down to -34...-35°C and is claimed to be resistant to powdery mildew, white spot, and brown spot. The produce has universal use and is suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
