The plant has vigorous growth; at a young age, the bush is upright, and over time the branches become more spreading. The variety is distinguished by good resistance to powdery mildew and late flowering, which reduces the risk of damage by spring frosts.
The berries are medium to large in size, bright red in color, and gathered in long racemes. The fruits have a distinctly sharp, tart taste, which makes them suitable both for fresh consumption and for culinary processing, in particular for making jelly and jams.
