The variety «Krameri punane», also known as «Krameri 1», is a medium-sized shrub with an obovate crown shape and light brown shoots. The growth habit varies from upright to slightly spreading.

The berries are small to medium in size, bright red in color, have a shiny surface, and are gathered in dense clusters. The fruit skin is thin and transparent. The berries are characterized by a high content of total soluble solids (up to 13.8 °Brix), sugars (about 8.0%), acids (2.15%), and vitamin C (about 22 mg/100 g).

The variety has good winter hardiness, as well as high resistance to anthracnose and other fungal diseases. The yield is estimated as medium. The intended use of the variety is for fresh consumption.
