The variety forms a bush of low height up to 100–120 cm with a spreading crown shape. The berries have a characteristic pinkish hue and a pleasant refreshing taste, which allows them to be used both fresh and for processing.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness, however, during cultivation, it can be affected by the currant bud mite. Given the heirloom origin of the variety and the lack of a unified official description, the characteristics of the seedlings may vary depending on the supplier.
