The bush is fast-growing, reaching a height of 1.2 to 1.8 m, and forms a dense crown with branchescovered in sharp needle-like thorns. The berries are round or slightly oval in shape and have a dark red, burgundy color at maturity. The average fruit weight is 3–5 g, occasionally reaching 10 g.
The berry pulp is sweet, aromatic, with a slight acidity; the skin is thin but firm, which ensures good transportability. The variety has high resistance to American powdery mildew, Septoria, frost resistance down to -34°C, and drought tolerance. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
