The plant is a medium-sized shrub 1.0–1.5 m in height with a semi-spreading or compact crown and straight shoots densely covered with sharp spines. Berries weighing 2–5 g have a round or oval-round shape, a smooth surface without pubescence, and a dark cherry color with light veins.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness down to -34°C and high self-fertility. Yield is 7–13 kg per bush. The berries are distinguished by juicy flesh with a sweet and sour taste, thin tough skin, good transportability, and the ability not to shatter for a long time upon ripening.
