The Hinnomäki series of varieties is represented by medium-sized bushes 0.9 to 1.5 meters in height with a compact hemispherical crown. The plant shoots have single, short thorns. The varieties are self-fertile and are characterized by very high winter hardiness.
Berries weighing 3–6 g have a dessert taste and a firm skin resistant to cracking. Yield is 4–9 kg per bush. The plants possess high resistance to American powdery mildew, anthracnose, and septoria leaf spot, and reach maturity in early-mid or mid-season in July.
