The Hinnomäki variety group includes varieties with different berry colors, the most well-known being red (Röd) and yellow-green (Gul). The plants are medium to vigorous shrubs 0.9 to 1.5 m tall with a compact or spreading crown and highly spiny shoots.
The ripening period occurs in mid-to-late July. Berries weighing 3–6 g have a dessert taste with a slight acidity and a pronounced aroma. Due to the firm skin, the fruits tolerate transportation well and are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.
The varieties are characterized by high winter hardiness (down to –30...–34°C) and resistance to fungal diseases, such as Septoria and American powdery mildew.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
