Information on the gooseberry variety «Riasnyi» in agronomic publications is extremely limited. This name is mentioned in literature as one of the parental varieties used in the breeding of the gooseberry variety «Likhtaryk» (synonym «Oksamyt»), developed at the Institute of Horticulture of the UAAS.
