The variety is a medium-sized shrub 1.0–1.5 m to 1.8 m in height with a compact or moderately spreading crown. The plant shoots are straight and covered with sharp needle-like thorns. The variety has high resistance to powdery mildew, septoria leaf spot, and anthracnose, as well as high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to –34°C...–40°C.
The berries have a round or oblong-oval shape, turn dark red upon ripening, and may be covered with a waxy bloom. Their weight ranges from 3–5 g to 7.5–8 g. The taste of the berries is dessert-like, sweet with a slight tartness in the skin, with a high skin density that ensures good transportability.
The variety is self-fertile and does not require pollinator varieties. Yield reaches 7–9 kg per bush. The berries are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption and for all types of home processing.
