10 August 2026
The Jonova bush is characterized by weaker growth compared to other Josta varieties, reaching a height and width of about 2 meters. The berries are large, shiny, round-shaped, and colored from garnet to dark red. A characteristic feature is the simultaneous ripening of all fruits in the cluster.
The variety belongs to the mid-season category; ripening begins in July. The fruits have a sweet-and-sour taste and are suitable for fresh consumption and processing. The plant is self-fertile, possesses winter hardiness, and has good resistance to powdery mildew, anthracnose, and gall mites.
