The bush is vigorous, has an upright growth habit and strong shoots that are not prone to lodging. The shoots have no thorns. The variety is considered self-fertile, although cross-pollination with other Jostaberry varieties is recommended to increase yield.

The berries are medium-sized, dark purple, almost black in color. The flavor of the fruit is aromatic and complex, with a slight acidity and astringency. Fruit ripening occurs from mid-July to the end of August.

The variety has high resistance to gooseberry powdery mildew, blister rust, and the currant bud mite. The berries are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for processing into jams, jellies, juices, compotes, and wines.
