Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety forms a bush with a spreading habit and drooping branches that require support. The fruits have a tart, rich flavor, and their size exceeds that of the base variety Josta. Ripeness occurs in late July to early August, which is 2–3 weeks later than the Josta variety.

The plant possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and columnar rust. The variety is partially self-sterile; therefore, cross-pollination with other jostaberry varieties is recommended to ensure yield. The berries are suitable for fresh consumption and various types of processing.
