The plant is a deciduous shrub with strong growth vigor and an upright, spreading habit. The leaves are broad, palmate, 3–5-lobed, and colored medium or dark green. The flowers of the variety are gathered in drooping racemes.
The berries possess a distinct taste and strong aroma. Biochemical composition studies confirm a high content of dietary fiber, ascorbic acid, and phenolic compounds. The optimal temperature for pollen germination is 20 °C.
The variety was selected from seedlings of the Laxton’s Perfection variety and is used in agricultural production to obtain berries suitable for fresh consumption or processing.
