KAPUSI A 125 is a black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) breeding number obtained as a result of selecting the fastest-growing specimens among millions of seedlings in the nurseries of the Alföld. The work was conducted using the simple selection method with an emphasis on the development of individuals at a young age.
This number is focused on increasing the productivity of forest stands in terms of wood volume and improving trunk quality. The selection also aims to increase the honey productivity of woody stands intended for industrial forestry.
