The variety KI1005 is a specialized clonal line intended for industrial cultivation as a raw material source for carnosic acid extraction. The plant is characterized as a line with a high capacity for accumulating this natural antioxidant.

During trials, the line showed an average carnosic acid content of 7.1% ± 0.8%. When evaluating biological indicators, cutting survival was 59%. The variety is an object of biochemical breeding intended for commercial antioxidant production.
