The variety is a perennial upright plant obtained through asexual propagation. It demonstrates high productivity metrics in open field conditions, making it suitable for commercial cultivation and subsequent extraction of beneficial compounds.

A key feature of the variety is the hyper-accumulation of carnosic acid. While wild rosemary forms contain about 2–3% of this substance, the variety KI937 shows results of about 9.8%. The plant possesses stable agronomic traits and excellent growth vigor.
