The variety belongs to the summer raspberry group and is characterized by very large berries. In historical sources, it is mentioned as a rare aromatic variety.

In documents of the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV), this variety is used as a standard for calibrating the fruit size characteristic when conducting tests for distinctness, uniformity, and stability.

The variety was known in EU countries until 2012. Detailed data on breeding history, morphological characteristics of the canes, and disease resistance are not publicly available.
