ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to mid-season summer raspberries, with a fruiting period that fills the gap between early and late varieties. The bush reaches a height of about 150 cm and forms a medium to large number of upright canes of medium thickness, covered with small dark prickles.
The berries are large, bright red, and conical, with a texture characterized as coarse-grained. The variety is intended primarily for fresh consumption, as the fruits are prone to fruit rot, which limits their long-term storage and industrial processing potential.
