Diamond Jubilee
ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety is everbearing and belongs to early maturity groups. The bushes are medium-sized, reaching a height of 1 to 1.8 meters. The plant canes are thick, strong, and have no thorns. Due to high yield and significant berry weight, the variety often requires the use of supports and tying.
The berries have a broad-conical shape, dense juicy flesh, and a sweet aromatic taste. Upon full ripening, the color of the fruit changes from bright red to ruby or dark red. The variety is characterized by good berry detachment from the receptacle, which facilitates the harvesting process.
The plant possesses good resistance to the main diseases and pests of the crop. The variety is suitable for commercial cultivation for sale in the fresh market and subsequent processing, and is also recommended for amateur gardening.
