The variety was obtained by crossing parental forms BR382.2 and BR502.2. The plant is characterized by thorny erect or semi-erect canes.
The fruits are large: the average weight is about 13.2 g on current-year canes (primocanes) and 9.5 g on second-year canes (floricanes). The crop is oriented towards the fresh produce market.
