Variety description

The plant has a compact habit with a dense structure and erect stems. The foliage is dark green with a wrinkled surface and fragrance. The inflorescences are dense spikes of large violet-blue flowers that contrast with the dark calyces.

The variety blooms from late spring to early summer; repeat flowering is possible after pruning spent inflorescences. The plant is drought-tolerant, heat-resistant, and low-maintenance, requiring good drainage and sun exposure. Suitable for borders, mass plantings, and containers; attracts pollinating insects.
