The variety is a compact, dense, and bushy perennial. The plant height during the flowering period is 56–61 cm, excluding inflorescences — about 45 cm. The foliage is fragrant, colored grey-green or dark green.
Flowering begins in late spring and continues until early summer. The flowers are bright violet-blue with dark violet calyces. The variety possesses high adaptability, is winter hardy in USDA zones 3–8, and exhibits drought tolerance after establishment. Resistant to browsing by animals.
The plant is suitable for container cultivation and use in landscape design for creating borders and mass plantings. Attracts pollinators, including butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.
