The plant forms dense clumps with stiff, upright, well-branched stems that do not require staking. The leaves have a dark olive or deep green color and possess a characteristic aroma.
Flowering occurs in June–July; a second wave is possible if spent inflorescences are pruned. The variety is winter hardy (USDA zones 3–8), resistant to lodging, but root rots are possible under excess moisture. Used in landscape design as a border or container plant; it is a honey plant.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
