The variety is a hybrid developed under the KWS Lochow GmbH breeding program and registered under the breeding number KWS-H245. It is intended for use in the baking industry and for feed purposes.
The variety features PollenPlus technology, which provides increased resistance to ergot due to intensive pollination. The plants possess marked lodging resistance, as well as resistance to a complex of major cereal diseases, including powdery mildew and brown rust.
