The Palazzo hybrid belongs to the medium maturity group and reaches a height of about 130 cm. The variety demonstrates high yield, exceeding that of population varieties, as well as pronounced resistance to lodging, drought, and frost. Suitable for cultivation on soils with low agricultural background and high groundwater levels.
The grain is used in baking due to its high falling number and in animal husbandry as a component of compound feeds. Protein content is 9.4–11.2%. Due to its hybrid nature (F1), using grain from the harvest as seeds for the next sowing is economically inefficient due to a significant decrease in yield.
