The variety is used as an intermediate crop for soil improvement and pest control in crop rotations with sugar beet. A key characteristic is genetic resistance to the beet cyst nematode Heterodera schachtii.
The plant is distinguished by early initial development and late flowering. The late onset of the flowering phase allows the variety to remain in a vegetative state longer, effectively suppressing weed growth and accumulating organic biomass.
