The variety is characterized by stable yield, similar to the Kirby variety, and medium stem height with a medium degree of branching. Its agronomic indicators are comparable to other commercial varieties of that period.

A distinctive characteristic is the high mucilage content in the seeds, which makes the variety in demand for the processing industry. The profiles of glucosinolate and fatty acid content in the oil of this variety are often used as a baseline for comparison with new breeding achievements.
